Trimble Site Positioning Course

Course Cost: $500 USD

Cancelation Policy: Customer must cancel within 48 hours of scheduled class, or they will be charged ½ price of training.

Length: 8 hours (1 day)

Course Format: 50% classroom, 50% outside

Experience Preferred: New Tech Users and Intermediate Users looking to obtain new tools or tips.

Materials Needed: Data Collector that you use in the field that is up to date with the latest version of Siteworks and Windows. Laptop or tablet that you use to transfer data with email installed and logged in.

Course is designed for any skill level. The goal is to cover most common applications of the end user in the field. We will also cover troubleshooting common issues the user may experience on site.

Course Objective: Obtain a good understanding of all site positioning components (Base and Rover or Robotics) and their function on the jobsite. We will cover all basic skill sets needed for everyday operation as well as some troubleshooting procedures for the systems. We will cover best practices for ensuring accuracy of the systems as well as collecting and exporting accurate field data.

Materials Need: Laptop / Tablet with email installed and logged in (Must have USB port or an adapter that will take a USB drive). We will use these to practice receiving and downloading files. Data Collector IF you typically have one in the field with you.

Course designed to host all skill types. We will cover main functions of equipment as well as the most common tools used on site. We will also cover troubleshooting different error the end user may experience.

Course Objective: Obtain a good understanding of all Trimble Machine Control components and their function in the system. We will cover all basic skill sets needed for everyday operation of the equipment as well as some troubleshooting procedures for the systems. We will cover best practices for in field set-up to ensure the machine is as accurate as possible before each day of grading. We will also cover how to make in field adjustments to grade when needed.

Customer Cancellation Policy

In the event a student must cancel their class reservation, we kindly request 48 hours notice. If proper notice is not given within 48 hours, the student will be assessed a no-show fee of $250 (one-time charge, not per day). If the class is cancelled due to low enrollments or instructor illness, no fees are assessed.

Where a special class is scheduled by SITECH and multiple students cancel, a $500 per person cancellation fee will be assessed.

In the event you cannot attend class, you always have the option to send another qualified person in place of the person who cannot attend. Please notify Jennifer Keys  at jennifer.keys@sitechsouthms.com about this replacement as soon as you are aware of the change.
