SCS900 Spring Training Event

Course Cost: $495 USD

Registration for one good for a maximum of 3 people from one company

Length: 8 hours (1 day)

Course Format: 50% classroom, 50% outside

Prerequisite(s): None

Course Description: This course provides instruction in the operation of SCS900 software using GPS and Total Stations with a windows based mobile computer such as a Trimble TSC3 and is intended for construction contractor field employees involved in grading, stakeout, topographic and volume surveys. Morning itinerary includes updating software, loading demo site files, SCS900 basics overview, business center basics, and file transfer. Afternoon itinerary includes GPS base and rover setup, site calibration, topo, volumes and stakeout basics, advanced features, roading, and SPS robotic setup. Lunch is included. NOTE: You must bring your own Rover and Data Collector. Data Collector must be updated to version 3.71 for the class.

Course Cost: $495 USD

Registration for one good for a maximum of 3 people from one company

Length: 8 hours (1 day)

Course Format: 50% classroom, 50% outside

Course Description: This course provides instruction for heavy equipment operators in the operation of GCS900 Machine Control software. Morning itinerary includes GCS900 emulator training, features and functions. Afternoon itinerary includes a machine walk around outside and best practices . Lunch is included.

Basic Business Center – HCE

Course Cost: $1,500 USD

Length: 24 hours (3 days)

Course Format: 70% ILT, 30% Lab, 0% Web

Prerequisite(s): None

Student Minimum: 3

Course Description: This course serves as an orientation and basic training on Business Center- Heavy Construction Edition, which provides one interface for modeling and data management. This course is classroom-based.

Course Objectives:

  • Setup user interface
  • Import different data types
  • View basic surface modeling features
  • View data
  • Calculate earthwork volumes
  • Create, edit, and manage SCS sites, designs, and work orders

 

Customer Cancellation Policy

In the event a student must cancel their class reservation, we kindly request a week notice. If proper notice is not given within one week, the student will be assessed a no-show fee of $500 (one-time charge, not per day). If the class is cancelled due to low enrollments or instructor illness, no fees are assessed.

Where a special class is scheduled by SITECH and multiple students cancel, a $500 per person cancellation fee will be assessed.

In the event you cannot attend class, you always have the option to send another qualified person in place of the person who cannot attend. Please notify Jennifer Keys  at jennifer.keys@sitechsouthms.com about this replacement as soon as you are aware of the change.
